Charlotte Neser
Charlotte is an entrepreneur with a track-record in start-up
businesses.
She most recently made her mark in the world of online advertising
by launching and running Abel & Baker UK in 2001. This
award-winning creative agency was sold to Wheel, one of the
UK's largest interactive communications agencies, in 2002
and Charlotte remains on the board of Wheel as a non-executive
director.
Charlotte started in business as a strategy consultant, and
then moved into the world of advertising as a strategic planner
at an international advertising agency. From there she joined
the online retailer boo.com, and had a key role as VP Europe
and New Markets - seeing the company move from start-up to
dot-com boom (and bust).
Charlotte has appeared in a number of articles in the marketing
press, and has spoken at conferences about interactive advertising
and online creativity. She helped set up Creative Showcase
in 2003, a monthly award for the best UK online creative work,
with the Interactive Advertising Bureau and Media Guardian.
Charlotte has recently completed an MA in Psychology of Religion,
and is currently helping to run a new TV production company.
