Jonathan Jackson
Jonathan Jackson is a hands-on, senior executive with
entrepreneurial, marketing and general management experience
particularly in the technology and telecommunications sector.
Jonathan is an expert and innovator in market penetration,
product development, brand management, and strategic positioning,
particularly in online environments. He has worked with various
blue ship clients on marketing partnerships including Virgin
Airways, Dow Jones, BT and Shell.
In 1996 Jonathan was a founding director of a pioneering and
profitable start up e-business serving the £18bn agricultural
sector. He developed the UK's premier subscription portal
and ISP in that sector with over 35,000 members and 40 million
minutes pa. The business successfully raised 4 rounds of Venture
Capital funding and grew to a valuation of £23million.
Jonathan came to FOL from Florida, USA where he managed the
operations of a $12m pre-paid telephone calling card company.
Jonathan was responsible for developing and managing, global
services and outsourced development platforms.
Before this Jonathan was Sales and Marketing Director of UKC
PLC, and has previously held senior sales positions with Mercury
Communications, a Cable & Wireless company.
Jonathan has an MBA and a Certificate of Advanced Management
from Northeastern University in Boston, USA.
